Woman held hostage in Garden Grove ATM robbery Police are searching for two men who allegedly held a woman hostage while forcing her to withdraw money from an ATM in Garden Grove.The victim, identified as a 66-year-old woman, was loading groceries into her car when she was approached by two men on Aug. 30 sometime between 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.The men told the victim they needed a ride to the bank, according to Garden Grove police.When she said she couldn’t help them, they demanded to be let inside her car or they would steal her vehicle. The woman unlocked her doors and let them inside. Man steals car, leads officers on pursuit, crashes minutes before 22nd birthday  A man is now in custody after stealing a car and leading officers on a pursuit through Santa Monica on Wednesday night. According to a release from the Santa Monica Police Department, officers observed a vehicle run a red light near the 700 block of Montana Avenue around 11:20 p.m. After the driver failed to yield to police officers and committed additional traffic violations while driving recklessly, they collided with a vehicle at the intersection of 7th Street and Wilshire Boulevard. “The driver failed to stop after the collision, continuing to drive without regard to public safety down the pier ramp and into the Newcomb lot,” SMPD said in a statement. “The vehicle pursuit terminated when the driver was boxed in near the carousel building on the pier.” Despite being boxed in near the carousel, the driver – identified as Nehemias Rivera-Menjivar of Wilmington – exited his stopped car and attempted to flee on foot. 4 teens arrested in connection with gang-related stabbing of 29-year-old man in Ventura County  A group of four juveniles have been arrested after a street fight led to a man being stabbed in Ventura County. Thousand Oaks Patrol Deputies were called to the intersection of Avenida de las Plantas and Calle Tulipan on reports of a man being stabbed at 8:30 p.m. Tuesday evening, the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office said in a release. When they arrived, they discovered the 29-year-old victim had sustained “non-life-threatening" wounds. DUI driver tries to buy more alcohol after crashing into Santa Rosa store (KRON) -- A man who was driving drunk when he crashed into a business got out of his car and tried to buy more alcohol after the accident, the Santa Rosa Police Department said. The crash happened at 2:38 p.m. Wednesday on the 2400 block of Dutton Avenue.
